Target Clients: Persons who want to become more mindful and reconnect with their inner wisdom

Group Description:
Exploring Mindfulness as a set of clear skills with well-defined concepts and instructions • Over 10 sessions we will discuss in detail each of the skills included in the Mindfulness module that is a part of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training Manual • In addition, participants will learn how to be mindful of their nervous system through psychoeducation on the autonomic nervous system and the Polyvagal Theory • There will be inclusion of short meditation and breathing practices to center and settle at the start of each group meeting • Personal reflection and practice is encouraged each week to assist group members in learning and assimilating the skills into their daily lives. • Our focus will be on reconnecting with our inner wisdom while we learn to notice and listen without judgement. Space is limited.

When the Group Meets: Ten Wednesdays, 6:00PM–7:30PM, starting from March 13th, 2024 and ending May 29th, 2024 (no group on 4/3 or 4/10)
