Group Description:
Mindfulness Meditation Group. Being mindful is switching from 'doing' to 'being' Simply put, It is the act of focusing your mind in the present moment, without judgment and without attachment to that moment. It helps us become aware of what is going on within us and around us, as we become more present in the "right now". A Regular Mindfulness Meditation practice helps to increase our ability to regulate emotions, and self control, decrease stress, anxiety, and depression. It also helps us to focus our attention, enhance our mental health, and functioning. Please join us for an exploration into Mindfulness Meditation.
